Date 2025.11.13

Strengthening Organizational Understanding and Belonging through the "Fit-in" Onboarding Program.

From November 12 to 13, 2025, the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) recently held its "Fit-in" onboarding program, designed to support new hires in their smooth transition into the organization and enhance their understanding of key operations. The program focused on helping new members align with KDS’s vision and core values while gaining a broader perspective on the international development consulting market.

The curriculum was closely linked to practical work, covering the institution’s founding principles, major business areas, and the evolving global development cooperation environment. Through these sessions, new employees had the opportunity to clearly define their future roles and the strategic direction of the tasks they will soon undertake.

A notable highlight of the program was the inclusion of interactive sessions that encouraged natural networking among participants. By introducing themselves through personal keywords and discovering common interests through group activities, the new members built mutual understanding and laid the foundation for future collaboration. The atmosphere remained vibrant and full of positive energy, further energized by engaging activities such as quiz sessions.

KDS continues to utilize its onboarding programs to ensure that new employees quickly adapt to the organizational direction and work environment, thereby consistently strengthening the institution’s overall expertise and collaborative capacity.

Moving forward, KDS remains committed to supporting the growth of its members through systematic training programs and nurturing talent capable of generating meaningful achievements in the field of international development cooperation.
