KDS Town Hall Meeting (1st)
Date 2026.02.11

A Place for Sharing Brand Renewal Progress and Scaling Learning Success.
On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) held its first Town Hall Meeting of the year. The session served as a platform to update all members on major organizational changes and operational updates, covering a wide range of topics from the ongoing brand renewal to the achievements of internal learning groups.
The meeting began with an update on the progress of KDS’s new Corporate Identity (CI) and the website renewal. As part of the rebranding transition, new business cards were distributed to all employees on the day of the meeting. Other essential office supplies including diaries, calendars, envelopes, and paper bags—are scheduled to be updated sequentially starting from the fourth week of February. Plans are also underway to replace office signage and art walls and to produce new brochures, ensuring a consistent brand image across all internal and external communication channels.
Following the brand update, the outcomes of the 2025 Learning Groups were shared. Two groups, ‘K-ITMO’ and ‘Issue (잇슈),’ presented their operational goals, activities, and key results. These presentations highlighted how voluntary learning activities have translated into enhanced professional capabilities. Following the presentations, an award ceremony was held to recognize and reward the outstanding efforts of the groups based on a formal evaluation.
The gathering also featured introductions of new employees, providing them with an opportunity to greet the KDS family. In the spirit of the Lunar New Year, members took a moment to share holiday greetings and well-wishes. The meeting concluded with an open discussion session, where members freely shared their opinions and addressed various inquiries regarding organizational operations.
This Town Hall Meeting was designed to ensure that all members are aligned with the institution’s major developments and have access to consistent information. KDS plans to continue hosting such sessions to provide timely updates on operational status, thereby enhancing information accessibility and fostering stronger synergy across the organization.
